Our members come to our gym for a number of reasons. They want to lose fat. They hope to gain muscle mass. They want to ready themselves for the summer season. They want to train for a specific sport. But, ultimately, they want to live longer, happier and healthier lives. In our experience we have found that no two members are alike.
Different goals, different strategies for reaching those goals, and different outcomes along the way. We meet you where you are, and celebrate as you get to where you’re going.

August 25, 2017 ~ ‘1000 DOORS’ • from: Lou E. • “Three years ago today, I walked through the front door of CFBT for the first time. 322 Bootcamps, 622 CrossFit WODS & 56 Fundamental/Gymnastic/Oly classes later, today was the 1,000th time. Each time has, simultaneously, been different, yet refreshingly consistent. I’ve been challenged, cajoled and encouraged. But most importantly, I’ve been coached to push myself and do things that I could not have imagined this old body doing three years ago. Patricia ‘Pat’ Deasy
March 29, 2017 ~ This year, we started what we hope to be a longstanding tradition of acknowledging a CrossFit Belltown athlete that demonstrates extraordinary character in a field of already extraordinary human beings… who inspires and motivates us to live life, even in the face of the most extreme challenges, including but not limited to sinus infections that all but take away one’s ability to breathe; a person that exudes grace, kindness and resilience in overcoming nearly impossible feats of human strength and endurance.
This year, we nominate Patricia ‘Pat’ Deasy as the absolute embodiment of grace under fire, and for possessing a spirit that will never give up, no matter how daunting the task.
July 16, 2016 ~ 1 year ago today I walked into my first ever CF basics class and could barely make it through the warm-up. Today I can deadlift more than my body weight, push 100lbs+ overhead, complete intense 8+ mile mud run obstacle courses and so much more. Thank you to all those who have supported me on this journey, I couldn’t have done it without you. Here’s to another great year and the opportunities ahead.
February 16, 2016 ~ Meet Pete. Pete began his CrossFit Journey just over one year ago. Pete used to play basketball for hours on end, all throughout high school and college, dating back to 2010.
Eventually Pete stopped working out; replacing the occasional pickup game with takeout and more time spent on the couch. Pete was now the heaviest he’d ever been, weighing 300 pounds.
Pete then began to dabble in dieting, interspersed with occasional bouts of ‘cardio’ and lifting weights, however nothing seemed to keep the weight off. Pete managed to lose 50lbs or so, however quickly gained the weight back again; his bodyweight yo-yoing up and down for years on end. Something had to change.
Fast forward to Jan 2015 — Pete walked into CrossFit Belltown, changed his eating habits, dialed up the intensity in his training, and hasn’t looked back ever since. He’s lost 75lbs in just under a year. He’s lean, he’s mean, and perhaps more importantly… He feels ten years younger and can now ball with the best of them again — Congrats Pete!
