The 2017 CrossFit Liftoff
This Thursday, November 30th, kicks off the annual CrossFit Games Liftoff. Athletes will have from the 30th until the 4th of December at 5:00pm PST to complete a max Snatch, max Clean & Jerk, as well as a workout (which will be released at 5pm PST on the 30th). CrossFit Belltown will be hosting the Snatch and Clean & Jerk portion of the Liftoff on Saturday, December 2nd, from 6:00pm-7:30pm, while the workout can be done anytime during open gym hours between the 30th and the 4th. There are loads of prizes available by different divisions (visit the Liftoff page here for more details and registration) – to qualify for any of the prizes, athletes must complete their workouts with a registered judge AND provide video footage of their workouts to CrossFit Inc. For anyone wishing to attempt to claim a prize and complete their workout in front of a registered judge, we must ask that you make these arrangements on your own (anyone who registered as an official judge for the CrossFit Open is also able to judge for the Liftoff). There is no time cap on the lifts and athletes may make as many attempts as they want within the competition dates.
